Shalisa Harvey, 1st Ward Alderwoman

A 27-year resident of Calumet City, Shalisa is a proud mother of two sons, who has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to community service.
She earned a Masters Degree in Human Resources and has more than 17 years professional experience in education and program management.
Shalisa Harvey has a long history of advocating for those less fortunate – distributing winter coats for over 3,000 children, assisting in coordinating food drives to help families struggling daily with food insecurity and is active with Prayer Works Ministries.
Shalisa owns and operates her own small business and still finds time to participate in supporting breast cancer patients, and she’s also an avid volunteer for the Lupus Foundation.
Shalisa Harvey’s experience, dedication, and commitment to public service make her a reliable advocate for First Ward families, who can count on her to help improve the quality of life in our community.
